Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Clinic Receptionist to join our front-desk team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for creating a warm and positive experience from check-in to check-out while efficiently managing administrative and scheduling tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
– Greet patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and empathy.
– Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments.
– Manage patient check-in/check-out procedures.
– Verify insurance information and collect co-payments or fees.
– Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system.
– Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and staff.
– Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
– Handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
– Support clinic operations with filing, billing, and other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
– Previous experience as a receptionist or front-desk representative (healthcare setting preferred).
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
– Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
– Professional appearance and demeanor.
– Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is a plus.
